Who we are

This website is run by Yellow Parrot Technologies Private Limited, a company incorporated in India ("we", "us"). We decide how the personal data described here is used. Email hello@yellowparrottech.com and we will reply within one business day.

What we collect

• When you send the contact form: your name, email address, the topic you choose, and your message.
• The country your request came from, which our hosting provider works out from your connection. We use it to spot spam and to reply at a sensible time.
• When you email us directly: whatever you choose to include.

We do not use advertising cookies or analytics that track you across sites, and we do not build profiles of visitors. If you pick light or dark mode, your browser remembers that choice on your device, and it is never sent to us.

Service providers

• Cloudflare hosts this website and the contact form. It processes standard request data, such as IP addresses and browser details, to deliver the site and protect it from attacks.
• Cloudflare Turnstile checks that the contact form is sent by a person. It processes technical signals from your browser for that check only.
• Cloudflare Web Analytics counts visits and measures how fast pages load. It uses no cookies and does not follow you across sites.
• Our email provider stores the messages we receive and send.

Each provider processes data on our instructions and under its own privacy commitments. Some may process data outside India.

How we use your data

• To reply to your message and, if you ask, to prepare a proposal.
• To keep the contact form free of spam and abuse.
• To meet legal obligations, such as keeping business records.

We never sell or rent personal data, and we do not add you to marketing lists without your consent.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiries for up to 24 months after our last conversation, then delete them. If we start working together, records are kept for as long as the contract and the law require.

Your rights

Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, and any other law that applies to you, you can ask to see the personal data we hold about you, correct it, have it erased, or withdraw your consent. You can also nominate someone to exercise these rights on your behalf.

Grievances

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, write to our grievance officer at hello@yellowparrottech.com. We aim to resolve complaints within 30 days. You may also approach the Data Protection Board of India.

Children

This website is meant for businesses. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18.

Changes to this policy

When we change this policy, we update the date at the top of this page. Significant changes are also noted on the home page for a reasonable time.
